Case Study Analysis Session

The FLAME Business & Consulting Club (FB&C), in collaboration with the FLAME Case Centre, kicked off its academic year with an impactful and thought-provoking Case Study Analysis Session led by Prof. Bharat Damani, Dean of the FLAME School of Business and one of the most respected voices in the fields of strategy and management consulting.

The session wasn’t just a workshop, it was a masterclass in structured problem-solving, designed to help students shift from classroom learning to real-world business thinking. Prof. Damani took students through the anatomy of a great case analysis, from identifying the core problem and structuring hypotheses to building data-backed recommendations that create real impact.

He emphasized that the essence of case-solving lies not in jumping to conclusions, but in learning how to think systematically under pressure, connect dots across business functions, and communicate solutions with clarity and conviction. Through interactive discussions, live examples, and a Q&A segment, students discovered how the same analytical mindset used by top consulting firms can be developed and applied right here at FLAME.

The energy in the room reflected the excitement of students eager to sharpen their analytical and presentation skills. The session concluded with a renewed sense of purpose, equipping participants with a clear understanding of what it truly means to “think like a consultant.”
